Retiring/Scraping vehile

Hello everyone,i am in a bit of a unfortunate situation here so any information would be apreciated. I have a vehicle registered in another EU country(Greece) that i have encountered engine problems that are not worth fixing here due to the age/worth of the car(2007 Ford Fiesta). Want to get rid of it for spare parts or entirelly scraping it. The thing is where should i ask for all the legal information required for the procedure? In a local KfZ? I am not a permanent recident,i am here for 1 year due to company work so dont know if this will affect things. Also located in Sylt if that is important. Any information/help will be apreciated,good day to all of you!
