Why DMZ Deserves to Die
DMZ had so much potential, and then Activision looked at it and said, “Yeah… let’s ruin every good idea we’ve ever had all at once.”
Here’s why DMZ deserves to be buried in the desert with a broken 3-plate vest:
- It turned into a looter-shooter daycare
Every match is just: • One guy doing Minecraft quests • One guy trying to unlock a gun • And a squad of level 9000 sweat lords stomping them for TikTok clips Absolutely ZERO balance. Just vibes, and all the vibes are bad.
- Bots that aim like Navy SEALs on Adderall
Who programmed these AI? Why are they hitting headshots across the map while blindfolded? Why do they spawn behind you like they teleported from hell? Calm DOWN, Skynet.
- “Extraction Shooter” but everything extracts except FUN
You spend 25 minutes collecting scraps like a raccoon… …then die to an AI with bullet ESP. Congrats! You extracted NOTHING but pain.
- The devs forgot about it harder than Warzone’s original map
DMZ updates? Content? Bug fixes? HELLO??? ANYONE HOME???
They left the mode to rot like some abandoned side project.
- Cheaters and glitchers everywhere
People flying, walling, teleporting, cloning your backpack like it’s Pokémon. Meanwhile, legit players are fighting for their lives against bots with laser beams.
- Missions that feel like doing chores
“Pick up 5 screwdrivers.” “Kill 20 guys with a gun nobody uses.” “Deliver a pizza to the DMZ boss’s basement.” It’s not gameplay — it’s a 9–5 job.

If DMZ went away tomorrow, the only people who would cry are: • YouTubers who built their personality on “SOLO VS TRIOS OMG NO WAY” • And the AI bots because they’d finally stop being overworked
