Patreon is no longer accepting my card when it was working just fine earlier

Basically, my problem is that. It was working just fine for the past few weeks. I subscribed to a few people I've been wanting to but today it just stopped accepting my card. When I re-added my card it said that it couldn't be added right now when it was working just fine before. I don't know what happened. Can someone explain to me what happened?
