Brida Makes No Sense

I’ve just started season 5, and the longer I watch the more Brida just doesn’t make sense

1. She held so much love for Ragnar, and after finding out that Cnut killed him you’d think she’d kill her child

2. How on earth did her child survive, let alone come out unscathed, after she was enslaved by the Welsh? She would’ve been dehydrated and malnourished which would have severely impacted the foetus

3. After giving birth, how on Earth did she survive for so long and make it to fucking Iceland of all places??

4. How on earth does she get to Iceland and then lead their people?? And when they arrive at Eoforwic, Ragnvald says they’re “all Danes”, but wouldn’t they have been Norwegian Vikings?

Idk I feel like after season 2-3, her character just progressively gets worse and worse. She just constantly wants war and treasure, which just seem so wild after losing so many battles and so many people.
