[Cheating] Is this a cheating low-life freak, or am I just shit at the game?

Wanted to do some of the night quests on shoreline from jaeger. Spawned in, accidentally walked out of bounds and set off the mine once - no biggy, healed up and went to sit in a bush to figure out my next steps.

I must've been sitting in that bush for around 3-5 minutes while tabbed out, and then I hear this little shit run up on me and start throwing nades exactly at my direction.

I just want an FYI on whether it's me who is dog at the game, or can I sleep tight tonight knowing I couldn't do anything against this?
