23 yr old musician here looking to join or start a band! Looking for a post-punk / new wave vibe

Hi there! I am a 23 year old guitarist/bassist based in East Harlem. I’m looking to either join an existing band or start a new one from scratch. Main goal is to write and record some killer music, play shows, and see where it goes from there.

Some of my biggest influences includes The Cure, The Smiths, Depeche Mode, Joy Division/New Order, Pixies, Sonic Youth, Teenage Fanclub, The Velvet Underground, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Sisters of Mercy, The Chameleons, The Cramps, Public Image Ltd., The Clash, Bauhaus, Misfits, Talking Heads, Duran Duran, Alex G, Elliott Smith, Cocteau Twins, My Bloody Valentine, etc.

If you have similar tastes and want to start something, or need a guitarist or bassist for your band, feel free to reach out to me! (Also big plus if you’re relatively around my age)
