Please suggest cheap wedding gifts

Hi guys, I have my best friend's brother's wedding coming up. Tbh, I am out of income for about 6 months now, and I am also not up to any kind of socializing, because I do not feel like it. I don't even want to attend the wedding. But, she kinda keeps on persisting. I'm also broke at the moment.

So, I need you guys to help me:

1. Come up with a very realistic excuse that seems very serious.

2. Come up with cheapest gift ideas. (I guess flower bouquets are cheapest, but what alongwith?) Within some 300-400 range. (Read: 300 please 🥺)
