I 22F want to get back together with my ex 22M, i'm a bit worried

My boyfriend and I broke up almost a year ago. We've been talking ever since and he has shown me a lot of growth and accountability/hope for a future with him. I really love him more than anyone I have ever dated. I feel something so special with him and can really see a life with him. The problem is my family and close friends don't approve of him and were happy for me when i broke up with him. It was nice to hear then, but I'm worried how things will go now when I tell them about wanting to be with him. I really feel that they will support me and none of them will have a "dont say i didnt tell you so when it crumbles" kind of attitude. Im just worried. Any advice would be very appreciated.
