Disappointed wireless charger for kindle CS

So just bought the 11th gen PW wireless charger as it’s 50% cheaper than the 12th gen one and still works perfectly. BUT … not with the clear silicone case on! Everytime I charge my CS I have to remove it from its case. It’s annoying. Thinking of sending it back but in fact I guess I can use it as a stand and only remove case when I actually need to charge it.
