Advice on Santos Sizing

Fellas…Im gifting my fiancé a Santos for our anniversary, but not sure what size I should get. I’m leaning more towards the large vs. the medium. The width of his wrist is 2 inches above the bone and 7 3/4-8 inches around the wrist.

Any fellas with these measurements? Feel free to chime in w/ pics, if possible. Thanks!
