[KCD2] Is it already time to play the game again?
I'm currently struggling with what game to play over the Christmas holidays. I'll have three weeks off starting Monday and absolutely nothing to do except for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Unfortunately, I don't really have a game that I'm in the mood for, I haven't found anything that appeals to me. Now I'm thinking about playing KCD2 again. I played it in normal mode until Kuttenberg when it was released in February, and then when hardcore mode came out, I played through it with all the negative perks for a total of about 260 hours. I've only played the “Brushes with Death” DLC because it came out relatively early. I haven't played “Legacy of the Forge” and especially “Mysteria Ecclesiae” yet. I would be extremely interested in “Mysteria Ecclesiae” in particular, as I loved the monastery part in KCD1. I finished the game sometime in June, so it's been about half a year now. I'm a little worried that I'll burn out too quickly because it hasn't been that long, but on the other hand, I don't have anything else to play. What do you think? Did you take a similarly long break and enjoy the game again like you did on the first day, or hasn't enough time passed yet?
I'm also considering playing certain challenges that I set myself to make the game more interesting. Maybe a few mods that change things up a bit. How about you?
