New to Wellbutrin, is it working?

Hey everyone, Doc recently started me on Wellbutrin 150xl for a recent bout of bad depression. I also have some anxiety that I’ve had since 2022. I’m on week 4 and what I’ve noticed is that the ST and intrusive thoughts haven’t really gone away. Anxiety is worse for sure. And some parts of most days I can’t stop crying (that’s a new one as of last week-I’m a 40yo man 🤷‍♂️) In your experiences, will these side effects subside? Or do you think it’s the wrong med? I’ve been on an ssri before with some luck, just hated the side effects of ED but this seems to have the same effect, or maybe it’s the depression that hasn’t gone away.

Any advice or experiences will be appreciated.
