It’s true. There’s only one place to get a passport—the U.S. Department of State—and all passport processing goes through them (us!). So rather than paying a third party extra money to visit our site for you, just do it yourself. ​

Travel.state.gov is the official source for all things passport, and it’s cheaper and more secure (no third parties!) than the other guys. ​
