A reasonable stance on the Byler ship

I’ve been more active in the Stranger Things online community lately in anticipation for the final season and I’ve noticed this has been big discourse on both sides. And that the dedicated Byler shippers have their own community and any in here often get downvoted to oblivion.

It’s weird, looking at all the crackpot theories from very small details over the seasons and even what your average viewer can catch by just watching casually, there IS evidence to support this ship, objectively. Whether you believe in it or not is subjective but ultimately this is all a theory on a tv show for teenagers. No I don’t think it’s inherently weird to ship two underage characters, no Byler becoming canon in the next few episodes wouldn’t be a plot twist.

I think we should just all have more respect for other people’s opinions especially over things like this that doesn’t affect anyone or anything at all and we will all find out in the next few episodes.

Personally I believe it’s way more likely that all three end the show single, Will, Mike and Eleven. Also despite whether Mike and Will do get together I would prefer Eleven to be on her own by series end.
