Sunbeam F1 Pro Hotspot Question

Hello, I’m interested in getting the f1 pro and would be frequently using the hotspot to connect a work device to the internet. I am wondering if you can easily connect to the hotspot directly from the work device like on iPhone or do you have to go into the sunbeam as well every time and manually turn on hotspot. Really appreciate any info anyone can provide.
