Mansions are definitely boring
Someone invited me to their mansion and after walking around, lifting weights, and doing yoga I realized it’s really a waste of money and I’m glad I didn’t waste time trying to make money to buy one. If the prices get slashed drastically before gta six online comes out I may consider buying one but for now definitely not.
The pets are a cute addition and I wish they’d let you have pets at any property but you can’t even interact with them (not as a guest at least) and they appear to stay in the same spot in the house. The yoga and weights add small boosts to your stats. Mansion is big and empty in regards to things you can actually interact with. Decor and design looks similar to the casino penthouse or renovated eclipse apartment decor…. I guess throwing a “party” fills it with npcs to make it look less dead. Not sure if the owner gains something from throwing parties.
You can add security an arcade and I think a car workshop but I’m not sure what security actually does because I think other players can’t get access the property or yard uninvited at all hence the loading screen at the gate.
There’s a hairstylist and a tattoo artist in there too but who really changes their hair makeup or tattoos that much to have it in their house?
I’m also pretty sure that’s how you get the Michael missions but there’s no way the missions are paying that much or offering good enough unlocks to justify paying that much for a property to gain access to it.
If you have the money for it knock yourself out but if you’re grinding and doing missions and heists over and over to get one I would keep my expectations low.
If you own a mansion already, feel free to correct me on anything mentioned or add anything that you think makes it worthy of purchasing!
