weird ghost figure next to my tamagotchi

this is on tamagotchi paradise, at first i thought my tama got sick but then i looked closer and saw a weird black ghost thingy on its right, and when i interacted, i basically had to hit the ghost till it went away, can anyone tell me what it was?
