How do you track feature requests and follow up with the customers who asked for them?
Right now, when a customer asks for a feature (via email or support), I dump it into an Asana board or a spreadsheet. That part is fine.
The problem comes later.
By the time I actually build the feature or fix the bug, often weeks later I have completely lost track of who asked for it. So when it finally ships, I forget to loop back and tell that specific customer it’s done.
It feels like I am leaving real retention and goodwill on the table by not closing that feedback loop.
How are you handling this today?
Tools, workflows or just winging it? would love to hear what’s actually working in practice.
