Flying Father Zera bug?

Hey all, bought the game recently and have been really enjoying it, but today I encountered a bug that forced me to quit to menu whilst fighting Samuel at the end of arcade mode. We both grappled at the same time but after pushing apart, Father Zera launched off screen up into the air. I think I was still alive and with controls, because the audio continued correctly and I was able to move around, however neither character was able to interact with the other.

Just wondered if anyone else had encountered this, or it was just the raw power of alcoholism letting Zera take flight
