Is a 65-second passive dead hang good for 87 kg? Did it post-shoulder workout
I’m 87 kg (~191 lbs) and today after my shoulder workout I tried a passive dead hang just to decompress. I wasn’t fresh at all, my shoulders and forearms were already somewhat fatigued.
Ended up holding for 1 minute 5 seconds (passive hang, completely relaxed shoulders).
For people around my bodyweight or heavier — is this considered a decent time?
I’m trying to improve grip strength and shoulder health, not chasing records, just want to understand where I stand and what a realistic progression goal is.
Any feedback or progression tips appreciated.
