I changed my battery under warranty

:discussion: Discussion

So I wanted to share my experience changing the battery right before the warranty expired.

I always used battery protection up to 85% for the last 3 years, but this last couple of weeks i gave up and booked an appointment at Samsung Service.

I was getting 3h-4h SOT on super low effort tasks (i just watch tiktoks/reels and play clash royale) and using more than 100% battery a day.

When the technician checked, my battery had 1090 cycles while somehow maintaining 94% health (which i dont really believe, accubattery was showing 82% and it kinda felt lower) but he agreed to change it anyway since the battery had so many cycles and was 2 weeks away to turn 3 years old.

2 days into the new battery and it finally feels like a normal phone again, lasts me through the day while having close to 6h SOT.

You can see the performance before and after the replacement on the screenshots
