mussoorie trip queries

hii all
im a clg student and planning a solo trip to mussoorie from 18/19 to 22/23 dec ,
my big concerns are that i dont know to drive so i cant rent any scooty or cars , how can i move about to cover majority spots , how is public transport there and can i get shared taxis easily

one thing on my checklist is dhanaulti , is it possible with my travel limitation

finally suggest places which i shud definitely visit
