Do I need to retake my English test for a UK partner visa extension if my previous test is now expired?

Hi all, I’m preparing to apply for my UK partner visa extension next year (FLR(M)), and I’m a bit confused about the English language requirement.

I passed a PTE Academic UKVI for my previous application, but the test result has expired now (valid until04 Mar 2025). Do I need to take the test again for the extension, or can I reuse the same test result even though it’s no longer valid?

I’ve seen mixed information online, so I’d really appreciate advice from people who have gone through the extension recently. Thanks!
