Legal career advice I am confused

have almost 3 years of experience in litigation. Now I want to move to the corporate side. I have not cleared AIBE yet, and I was never a top student, so I feel a bit lost. Someone suggested that I should first join an LPO, get some experience, and later move to an in-house counsel role or into intellectual property. But I am confused about what I should do in my career. Can someone please guide me on what path is better for me?
