B1B2 renewal for observership

Hello all! I’m a Indian medical graduate who is an USMLE aspirant. I’m looking to get my visa renewed. I hold a B1/B2 visa and it’s expiring in March 2026. I’ve been told that I’ve to give an interview to renew my visa. I traveled to the US once on this visa and attended a paid elective and stayed there an extra month visiting family. I plan on attending a few more electives in the future but need my visa renewed for the same. So during my interview and Ds160 application form, do I tell them it’s for a paid observer-ship or do I mention that it’s just a tourist visa. Any help would be appreciated. I’m planning to take my step 1 soon in March 26 and I think my visa interview might be before that. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much
