Reinstall laptop with a broken screen

I have an external monitor which is not being recognized while booting the reinstall usb Is there any way i can get my external monitor to work as the primary one while booting for reinstall? Usually the external monitor turns on when the windows login screen appears.

Tried to close the lid, change the settings before shutting down but doesn’t work. I’ve entered the boot menu but can’t see anything since the display is cracked.
