So the fnaf 2 movie came out recently. One of the things we learned is that apparently the mci (or at least the golden freddy kid) have been keeping Afton dormant from coming back. A theory has recently been made that Vanessas dreams arent just her trauma from Afton but Afton himself haunting her while dormant. So heres my theory :

In Fnaf world we are told by yellow eyes that everything that happens in the real world has an effect in fnaf world (which many interprit to be some sort of spiritual world), but something bad has happened out there, really bad. Later Adventure Fredbear tells us that something must have happened on the flipside, and now monsters are breaking in. What if William is doing the same he did to Vanessa in the movie, messing with Fnaf world after being springlocked and causing monsters to appear (now of course this depends on what you belive Fnaf world to be, I personaly subscribe to what DoubleTsQuid theorised, that there's a meta and inuniverse narrative and that Fnaf world is basicly a fake happy world made by William to trap the mci after melting them like in the novels).

The biggest problem against these theory are to my knoledge:

1. If the Afton haunting Vanessas dreams theory is true.

2. Dbd description saying Afton was uncoscious after his springlock failure having done basicly nothing during that time.
