Advice on Master’s Programs

Hi everyone. I’m currently between jobs and am considering going back to school for a master’s conservation biology or something adjacent to that. I’m only gathering info at the moment about what’s out there and what kind of careers I could go into once I have that master’s. I’ve been out of school for ten years now and am finally at a place in my life where I can think more seriously about grad school (I’ve had some personal and financial things to deal with that have kept me from pursuing this until now). Of course, the first thing I’ll need to tackle is deciding specifically what I’d want to study and what kind of jobs I’d qualify for after graduation. I’ve always been passionate about wildlife biology and I’d love to have a job that would allow me to make a difference and help wildlife conservation especially with the threat of climate change. I am open to other possibilities adjacent to this too like ecology and sustainability. Can anyone give me some advice/guidance/anecdotes about how to decide which program was right for you and what you’re doing with your degree now? Anything is helpful!

(Sorry if this is rambling and slightly incoherent. I wrote this at 4:30 AM when I really should be sleeping)
