BOOSTING DHS HURRICANE 3 NEO

My experience with boosting was pretty linear and I'd like to tell you guys how you can get the best out of yours too. I used haifu seamoon yellow booster (the basic one), it isn't as stinky as many say it is, it does leave a bad smell on you if you don't have opened windows. I have to note that the orange sponge hurricane 3 neo was a little curved as it arrived alredy, if that happens to you too, it is an indicator that booster is already present in the sponge, and I highly suggest to put less than you would've if it wasn't domed.

STANDARD BOOSTING PROCEDURE

With that said, the common standard for hurricane 3 neo is a 2 layer 24h wait in between procedure, where you lay the first one, wait for it to dome and then flatten again to apply the second one. I higly suggest toward putting a very light layer of glue before this procedure, as it severely reduces doming and the chance of "over" boosting you sponge, i did it with mine and as expected it didn't dome as much as it normally would. Once you finished this 2/3 step booster application, (3 step including light glueing first) then you can proceed on glueing to the racket.

GLUING ONTO THE RACKET

Quick side note on gluing onto the racket, first of all, a lot of people suggest you impart 2 layer of glue on the sponge, letting the first one dry and then drying again, I personally advise againts it, as most modern chinese glue are usually very watery and strong, meaning they'll penetrated effectively in the sponge even with the presence of booster and attach the rubber without problems; another issues with double glue layer is the weight, you alredy applied a layer of glue and 2 of booster, applying 2 more layers will make your racket very head heavy wich is uncomfortable for most.

SANDING THE RACKET

Sanding the racket: I higly suggest you sand the first layer of your blade before assembling, most of the time this first layer will have microscopic irregularity, especially if you removed previously glued rubbers from it, wich will reduce the quality of the hold of the racket on the blade. Zhang jike (the goat) suggests you sand both side for about 3 to 5 minutes with 240mm sandpaper wich is what I did, after this process, swiftly glide your finger on the blade to assert smoothness, i suggest you use a very lightly humidified sponge (a yellow dish sponge will do) to remove the residues from the blade, the blade should NOT be wet, the change in color will be due to the cleaning, if you suspect the blade got slightly wet because of the cleaning use some tissue to dry.

FINAL NOTE

This is it hope this little guide helped. Hope the best for you all.
