Valve Corp. announcing something today at TGA

My tech leader has been in contact with Valve Corp. recently and apparently they are going to TGA today but they didn't say to him anything else about their plans (secret?) Do you know why Valve would be present at the event? Announcement of potential pricing for the 3 new hardware there? Or they are just here because some of their games are nominated?
