Tired of the BS

So, I’m bo spring chicken, I am in my 40s and find that trying to find anyone online is ridiculous…

Fake profiles, people pretending to be single when they are not… scammers… etc… it’s really exhausting…

I just want to meet a real person…

I’ve been online since 95… I am not stupid… it’s real simple… you want to get to know me, than video chat… hard to fake that… at least at the moment…

I recently had someone message me randomly after reading a message I wrote on a post, wanting to know more about me… asked to go to Reddit… I obliged…

We talked, things got heated… but when my “spider sense” went off… I asked for what would by any normal sense a simple request… let’s exchange numbers or video chat… and for immediate shut down… like I was somehow the bad guy for requesting such a thing… and why didn’t I “trust”…

Well… answer is simple… internet is full of scum… video chat hard to fake… and why is that bad for me to ask… I want to protect myself…
