Removing the taboo from civil religious and philosophical debate would be good for the world
Hey everyone, I'm not 100% sure if I'm following the rules posting this, apologies if not, I just thought this would be a good place for it.
I've been working on a document while converting from Agnostic Nihilism to Christianity, to wrap my head around things and to reconcile what seemed like conflicting forms of logic in my mind at first, I wanted to share it here as a 'case study' of sorts, apologies if it's written weirdly, I didn't do it all in one sitting.

And as the title says, while I know that earnestly putting one's worldview on the line can be a stressful thing, seeing the state that the world has been heading in the last few years, and thinking of the ancient intellectual foundations that we take for granted nowadays, I've got this naive hope that people on all sides of this age-old debate can go back to... debating. Not in a defensive and close-minded way, but in an honest attempt to pursue and share the truth, whatever it may be. I think we can all agree that it's good to will the good of others, and it stands to reason that sharing objective truth with others, in the long-term, is good for them.
To anyone who gives my document their time, thank you, God bless you, and merry Christmas (or happy holidays, you get my point, good intentions only).
