What if "Mad World" was actually recorded as a 1964 Gospel ballad? 🎹💔

Hey everyone! I'm a huge Tears For Fears fan. I've always felt that "Mad World" has almost religious/spiritual lyrics, despite being so sad.

I’ve been experimenting in my studio with vintage Soul sounds (trying to get that warm Detroit/Motown vibe), and I reimagined the song as if it were released in 1964. It’s slower, with a choir and a lot of reverb.

I think it gives the lyrics a whole new weight. Would love to hear what true fans think of this arrangement!
