Trackpad needs me to move away from a button for me to click it sometimes

Well, this is what the title is... help please! Also, sometimes, the trackpad refuses to register the click. I still CAN click, but macOS just sometimes ignores it. Specs: MacBook Air M4 2025 13-inch 256+16GB macOS 26 Beta
