Rep offer - how to decline?
Hey guys :) I’ve been offered representation by an agent I didn’t initially apply for. They found me by spotlight and I agreed to have a meeting. They have since offered representation however even though I am looking for an agent, I just don’t think it’s a fit for me. I’m unsure how to decline without coming across as picky. It’s a small, not very well known agency and the work their clients book is only within one market and I don’t see myself booking the type of work their other clients do.
How do I decline the offer without sound snobbish? I appreciate them reaching out to me however I don’t want to sign with them just because it’s the only offer I’ve gotten.
Any advice on how to word it/go about it? Thanks :)
