Another delivery question

Sorry

So my parcel was on the van last night, but obviously wasn't going to be delivered because of the timeframe (22:10-23:20 or something).

What do they normally do when evening parcels don't make it in December? Next day daytime, or another evening run? (Too big for my postie I think)
