Nostalgia is making my depression worse

I dont know why this happens or how to make it better, but im constantly thinking about the past, even moments I look back on fondly I know at the time I was upset about something and was looking for happiness in another past memory.

Like for example Im very nostalgic for 6 months ago. My fiance and I were taking long motorcycle rides around the bay area of California, going to the state fair, seeing $5 movies and just enjoying summer on the back of our sport bike. I know at the time I would often wake up upset or get upset mid ride, id start thinking about when we lived in texas and how i missed it and didnt want to be in cali. NOW we're elsewhere and im looking back on those memories and romanticizing them. Its like I can never be happy in the now, theres always something im missing :(

The past 5 days ive done nothing but cry Because I miss when we lived in fort worth, when we would stay up till 3am, dry scoop pre workout and go film motorcycle content in the city. At the time we didnt have typcial jobs and every day was just fun. I do the same for old Minecraft, I wont let us sell our motorcycle for a new one cause nostalgia and memories, I constantly relisten to music from the time in fort worth i talked about. Its like im chasing the high from then.

Are lives are mundane now, we do the same thing and its made my depression worse. We watch a movie, go to bed, go to work and repeat. But I know maybe a year from now ill look back on this time period and find something to miss. Why am I like this? How can I stop it? Our time in TX is the thing that really makes me depressed everyday like if I could sell my soul to indefinitely live in that time period I would.

Advice would be nice or maybe a relatable experience? Like have you gone thru something similar? Most of my nostalgia thats crippling is because I miss a place or how something unfolded in a memory. I always want to to recreate it.
