How to take photos in VR?

Hi, I am playing in Oculus mode, it works good enough, but everytime I take an in-game photo, the image is double and distorted (essentially what the monitor shows, so one image per eye, and the monitor shows each of them vertically elongated so that they fit in the screen). Is there a way to capture only one of the images and be able to take nice photos while still being in VR?
