How hard is it to replace the flex cable on Konica Big Mini Standa?

I am on my third Konica standa and I am too stubborn to give up this little camera just yet. I have one, works perfectly (even has a remote!) but the flex cable is visibly broken and the camera won’t sense film. My second standa has some sort of motherboard issue I think. The top buttons do not work at all BUT from what I can see it has an intact flex cable. Just how hard would it be to swap these things?

I could potentially send them off to a shop to swap the cables, but they turned me away last time because this is (understandably) a very old camera. I don’t know if they’ll change their mind now that I have all the parts on hand, because getting parts would’ve been their biggest issue.

I cannot find a tutorial for the Big Mini Standa specifically, only the Big Mini. Are there any resources out there before I take apart these things?
