Is there a big difference between club balls and proper match balls?

Whenever I play at my local club the balls feel a bit sluggish, like they grab the cloth more than they should. Then I watch the pros and everything seems to glide around the table.

For anyone who’s played with both: is the difference actually noticeable? Weight, polish, how they react to screw/side, does it all feel sharper with the official match sets?
