Positive result after 4x BEP RPLND - Stage 3C Poor Prognosis

Hi everyone,

I wanted to make an update on news I received as I am grateful for the support and advice I received from countless members of this group.

I have just received the results of my pathology from my PC R-RPLND and Orchiectomy.

Out of the 18 lymph nodes and 7cm tumour removed, no active cancer or teratoma was found. A 0.8mm teratoma was found on my left testicle but this has been removed.

I understand I am not completely in the clear although at this point I can not describe my relief and happiness from this news.

For those who have gone through this, you are absolute troopers, for those who are still going through it, reach out, ask for help when needed. This group is literally a life saver and everyone I’ve communicated with here has been the kindest, smartest and most compassionate people on the internet I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.

I feel I need to mention my team of Urologists, surgeons, nurses and doctors are the reason I am still here and there is no way I can ever repay this debt, they are the real heroes who often go unnoticed.

I plan to post a full story at some point in the near future, at this point I do not have the words to describe my ordeal and am still in a state of shock and happiness from this outcome.
