Found out after +20 years that i never broke a bone

When i was 6 years old i was playing in a park, jumped over a rock, then proceed to slip and fall over my leg. It hurted like hell and it was really swollen, so my parents took me to the hospital, where they put a cast on it. They told me i broke my leg and i wasn't allowed to leave my bed. A week later, i went back to the hospital and they remove it, telling me everything was fine. I was so happy to be able to play and run outside again that i never questioned how fast i healed.

Last week i was watching some old photos and saw a picture of my cousin wearing a cast (he broke one of his legs during a karate class). I comment to my mom that it must have been a very nasty injury if it took a month to heal instead of one week like mine. She looked at me funny, saying that i never broke a bone. So, of course, i reminded her of the above... welp, turns out, MY LEG WAS NEVER BROKEN. What happen was the radiologist wasn't available, so they put a cast preventively and told my parents to come back next week. In the end, my leg was fine and that's why they removed it. My parents just never mentioned this fact ever again, or at last not in my presence.

So, yeah, i guess i belong to this subreddit now. Or maybe i did brake my leg and just so happens i have super-healing powers that i don't know of LOL

TLDR: My parents forgot to tell me that the reason I had to wear a cast in my leg is because the radiologist took the week off.
