Display name hud glitch

The update for nicknames was made in march, we are in December and I'm still losing ranked matches because I can't see my damn hud, this is an absolute joke. Any idea if this will ever be fixed or have a work around? Only one ive found is completely removed team mates from your hud, which makes it harder to work as a team
