Unable to Log In to Hotmail – Getting Error After Multiple Attempts

I’m trying to log in to my Hotmail account, but I can’t. I keep getting a message saying I’ve tried to log in several times, which isn’t true! Is anyone else having this issue after 2-3 attempts? I haven’t been able to open my inbox all day due to an allegedly incorrect username/password.
