I feel bad for liking the 2000s

I honestly feel kind of ashamed for liking the 2000s, I am a fan of 2000s pop culture and the culture from that era and I like the "rawness" of it, I am a fan of 2000s fashion, pop-punk music, the vibes of the internet from around that time, the video games or movies from that era, and so on, I like the "raw" vibe to it and am nostalgic towards it.

Unfortunately, this decade gets overshadowed by the bad political events of that decade and is still shat on to this day because of 9/11 and the War on Terror, I have made several posts in the past saying that the 2000s were an underrated decade and people downvoted it with people saying that the 80s and 90s were better and saying that the 2000s was bad and whatnot when I just said that I liked the pop culture of that era. I made a different post saying that I liked 2000s pop-punk music and it was clowned on by people and said that 2010s Hipster music was better because it was more "optimistic."

Even Zoomers, the people who grew up in the decade and are the most nostalgic towards it are starting to gravitate towards the 2010s for nostalgia the further we get away from it and I feel bad as I feel like the 2000s will end up forgotten in the future and it's such a shame because it's such a fascinating decade for me.

Does anybody else feel the same way?
