Viofo A329s downloading footage

Morning all. I’ve just bought a Viofo A329s 3 Channel set up and am currently playing around with the setup. There are a few “oddities” that hopefully someone can shed some light on for me?

I have tried downloading footage using both the WiFi and usb c connection. This is to an IPhone 15.

After connecting & downloading via USB C, it seems to change the multiplex setting from on to off for future recordings. I then have to go back into the settings to switch multiplex back on.

Also, after downloading a video via USB C it seems to stop the app from saving/showing future footage on the app for subsequent journeys. If I re format the SD card (using the app) this seems to resolve the issue & future videos show up on the app.

Essentially it seems that the unit doesn’t particularly like me swapping between using WiFi & USB C to download/view footage.

Could anyone advise if they have had similar issues & whether this is normal?
