How would you guys feel if someone insists on you socializing?
I've always loved my own space and doing my own thing.
I do socialize with people and I can converse well with others (even some strangers). But since I rarely go out, my parents would always insist on me joining my cousins whenever they hang out.
Now, I have good relationships with most of my cousins, but I don't always spend time with them because our interests are simply different. So, is it really such a bad thing that I love just staying at home reading books and watching dramas rather than socializing?
They seem to be worried that I am isolating myself, but I really am not. I just don't feel the need to hang out often. And I'm feeling a bit bad because I'm starting to feel annoyed at them for always urging me to socialize when I simply want them to leave me be.
Is it bad that I'm getting irritated at their insistence? I know they are coming from good intentions, but how do I make them see that I am okay just being by myself? That having my cousins force me to join them in their drinking parties (only family) and whatnot bothers me?
Anyway, I just want to know if any of our infp peeps here are in the same situation. Thank you so much. ♥️
