Should I become a self taught animator?

I am a digital marketing manager and I do ok but lately everything feels monotonous . The issue is even my degrees are business and finance. The real catch is that these days I am fascinated by making adult animation like the ones people watch while getting stoned.

I get so many ideas in this space, almost everyday and it feels like maybe this is my purpose to give back to humanity?

Although, I don't know how I can generate an income from this and moreover in my professional career I keep getting offers so I feel there is a good scope.

Is there a way perhaps I can do both?
