Is it normal to skip most stages of grief and just... accept things?

I dont go through the first 4 stages of grief. Most of the time. Death and other devastating things I've accepted as a part of life. Probably at a young age, I dont know. But when someone dies, I dont get angry and I go through denial and I dont bargain. I just get a bit saddened and accept it. Like, right away.

Is this normal? Is this common? Am I an outlier?

It's not a lack of compassion nor caring. I just know there's nothing I, or anyone else, can do to change the situation.

(However, my mom has COPD and is getting up there in age. I'm sure I'm gonna wail like a baby when she dies.)

So yeah, is this normal, or am I an outlier?
