AITAH for going to the Bahamas without telling my boyfriend so i can avoid getting evil eyes?

So i went on a trip to the Bahamas with my family for two week ,did soo many activities for two week trip, however i did not tell my long distance boyfriend that lives in a whole different country than mine , however when i started packing my stuff to the trip ,i didn't tell him about it ,not because of anything,but because I'm scared he might give me evil eyes, accidentally,and it might ruin my whole trip starting from packing to coming back,not that my boyfriend is bad ,but it's just that i grow up in environment were people give you the evil eyes whenever something good happens to you no matter what it is, even the closest ones,so i choose not to tell him ,i feel bad when i look at the photos and the videos and that i couldn't share my experience with him, but I'm scared of evil eyes 🧿,what could have been the better approach to this and what can i do now
